Highland Park – Launch of Global Repositioning

In the spring of 2017, Holm & Bertung PR executed an enormous international whisky event on Danish soil: The Orkney single malt Highland Park had chosen to launch their brand new identity in Denmark in an effort to stress their strong Viking heritage.

After the event, we here at Holm & Bertung PR were happy to receive the following appreciative words from Highland Park’s Senior Brand Manager – as well as the news that the event had been declared an international best-case:

Besides the task of coordinating 100+ press people from 11 different contries, Holm & Bertung PR was in charge of the entire event production – from catering, hotel, and entertainment to transport, hosting and set design. Plus of course Danish PR.

The international guests feasted – Viking-style – in an authentic Viking castle on the lovely island of Funen to celebrate Highland Park – “The Orkney Single Malt with Viking Soul”. Of course, the final leg of the journey to the castle was completed aboard horse-drawn carriages. The big finale was a Viking sword fight and funeral – complete with the ritual torching of a Viking boat.
